One Year of the Magnify More Podcast: Reflections & Learnings

Uncategorized Nov 13, 2020

Listen to Episode 52 here

How has it been a full year of the Magnify More Podcast ALREADY? I wanted to start this episode with some gratitude to all of you who listen or catch up on these blog posts. It means the world to me! I can’t express enough how much I love to be a part of your daily commute, a plane ride, or even just a relaxing evening. Again, thank you so much for sticking around.

For this anniversary, I want to reflect on this year and some of the biggest lessons I have faced!

One of the things I have really anchored into over the last year is, “How can we make the journey the destination?”

Throughout my life, I have always been reaching for the next big thing. I do not have a lot of memories of really being present and in the moment. When you operate this way, you are never fully satisfied. It was a constant, “on to the next!”

It is not easy, but I am learning how to live here in this moment and not in the future. With this, comes being okay with things not going as planned. No matter how aligned it feels, sometimes shit hits the fan! I used to have a super hard time with this. I was doing all the “right” things, but still a lot of the things I wanted to happen this year, just did not happen.

We cannot control the external! We can control how we are responding to those things.

Another lesson I have learned is just being comfortable with the loneliness as I grow out of old ways of being. There are communities that I do not just vibe with anymore and I have had to allow space for the right connections to come through. As you are going through these massive shifts, there is going to come a period of being a lone wolf, but it is really beautiful. It is beautiful when you can hold yourself in it and be your own best friend. If you surrender to the experience, the right people will come!

Another huge lesson is honoring the human experience and honoring our cycles. It is inevitable that when you are doing these badass things and crushing your goals, you are dishonoring your female cycles. I have been bringing conscious awareness to the phases we go through as women and how I feel through each one. Cycle syncing has been a huge shift in how I operate in life and business.

As for the human experience, I used to feel like I needed to have all of my shit together in order to show up for my business and clients, but that is just not the case. You can still be human, have a rough week, and still show up for yourself and your business! You can have a life and still show up boldly!

Another lesson is life is too short! I know what is for me and what is not. If we are unhappy with what we do day to day or our relationships or anything, what do we need to do to begin shifting out of it.

You are so magical and you deserve it all! Life really is way too short. Make a decision today that you are going to make yourself the main character. Make your life a movie!

I hope that you were able to take something away from this episode. I would love to connect on instagram @mickaelamcnatt if you are willing to share your experience after listening.

I will catch you all on the next episode!

Sending you so much love and light,

Mickaela McNatt | Business Coach
